The ShopKeep.com way is to make things better for retailers. It just so happens that our service makes things better for Mother Earth as well.

In the traditional model of point of sale software, you would likely have your own server for storing customer and product information. With that comes network switches, extra monitors, cooling systems and all sorts of clunky hardware. That means increased energy consumption! A server running 24/7 can use a surprising amount of power, especially an old inefficient one. Not to mention computer hardware often ends up in land fills, where heavy metals can leach into the soil and water table.

With ShopKeep, you are using Amazon’s EC2 Cloud server. The resources used to store and delivery your data are efficient, clean and affordable. This means you can run your shop with less equipment and less impact on the environment. See? Lean and Green
