Network Setup

Mobile businesses get internet access through a 3G/4G hotspot or go without connectivity. Check your carrier’s coverage map before purchasing to make sure the hotspot works where you need it and that its connection is fast enough.

Hotspot + Bluetooth Printer

If you don’t need to print order tickets, using a hotspot and Bluetooth receipt printer is your simplest configuration option.

1 Set up your hotspot according to the manufacturer/carrier instructions.

2 Connect the iPad to the hotspot’s WiFi network.

3 Set up your Bluetooth receipt printer.

Hotspot + Extender + Ticket Printer

If you need to print order tickets, you’ll have to use a range extender and ethernet ticket printer with your hotspot.
