The WindFall iPad Stand ships with all of the parts and pieces shown below:

  • WindFall Stand Frame
  • WindFall Stand Backplate
  • Four Tamper-Resistant Security Screws
  • PivotTable Kit (PivotTable base, tack, ClickSafe anchor, assembly screw, assembly tool, two adhesive disks, four friction feet and four sliding feet)
  • iPad Stand Setup

Before using the PivotTable or stand feet, install your iPad in the stand itself.

    1. Use the assembly key to loosen the screws and remove the backplate.
Lose your assembly tool? Visit our WindFall Troubleshooting Guide to learn how to get a new one.
    2. Place the iPad in the backplate.
    3. Hold the backplate against the stand and reinsert + tighten the assembly screws.

If using the iDynamo card reader, connect it to the iPad before completing this step.

Does the iPad feel a little loose? Insert the fit adapters between iPad and frame for a snug fit.

    PivotTable Rotation Setup

Set up your stand with the PivotTable to swivel the register around for customers to sign and tip on screen.

    1. Affix an adhesive disk to the bottom of the PivotTable.

Use the permanent disk to adhere the stand to a counter for good. Otherwise, use the temporary disk.

    2. Set the stand on top of the PivotTable.
    3. Place the cap on top, insert the assembly screw through the ClickSafe anchor, and tighten the screw.

    Stationary Setup for iPad

The included plastic feet help protect your stand and countertop. Only install these if you do not want to use the PivotTable.

  • The grey sliding feet allow the WindFall to move freely.
  • The clear friction feet prevent the iPad from sliding around on a countertop.
    1. Set the stand face down.
    2. Remove the backing from the chosen set of feet.
    3. Apply the feet directly to each of the four corners.
